The drop on mass driver starts to click when you use the bottom 'T' intersection of the leaf sight to aim outside of stuff that is about 50+m away. Inside of 50m you progressively move up that sight.

Anwyone can play for any side. You are mercenaries. There is no equipment restriction to one side or another, so you can deploy for the Minmatar and wear all Amarr gear. If you are new and learning the game, pub matches are better.
